Christian M. Krentel (1871–1943, M.A.C. ’99) was the eldest of the four Krentel Brothers. He and his wife, May Evalin Hanford, married in 1908 and had one son. May passed away in 1941, and Christian remained here until his death in 1943.

The C. M. Krentel House is an East Lansing Landmark Structure.
